    I’m struggling a bit with your tutorials, when I try to load them I get a message about some missing dlls such as ‘bitmapproxies.dlu’. I’m running 3d studio max 8, are you running 9?

    I get this in a dialogue box

    Then a Missing DLLs dialogue box opens with:

    FileName: ctrl.dlc Class: MasterLayerControlManager SuperClass: 0×900F

    After selecting one and clicking on open it returns an error message of:

    File Open Failed: D;\3D Max 8\MentalRay DVD\Appendix 04 – HDRI\LR_HDRI.max

    think this is due to the different max version. i use max 9 so proberly u need max9…..
